First Post

Well, this is the first post for this blog. I suppose I could introduce us to the world of Blogger. We (my husband and myself) are a couple raising support to go as missionaries to Chile. We plan to live in Santiago for a while. Once we have learned enough about Chile to function smoothly, we want to move out of the city, perhaps to a coastal town. Mike will be joining a Bible Institute in Chile. So far, they have him lined up to teach Hermeneutics. That may change, but we will go with that until it does change. I (Tabi) will try to set up a small, mobile media studio so that I can provide services to the missionaries in Chile. I may join another missionary there who wants to provide a recording studio for Christian Chilean musicians. I hope I can. That way, we can pool our resources, and we'll be able to accomplish more.

For now, though, we're raising support and working part-time jobs until our support can cover our living expenses. After that, we'll dedicate ourselves full-time to the support-raising process. Personally, I find this step exciting. I see this as an opportunity to present churches with a way to expand the Kingdom of God. Here we are, willing workers, ready for the task. All we need is for churches to help us get there. I hope that churches can see it that way, too.
